Expendable In ExpansionHe stares at a home like he stares at a steak.
He's ready to destroy and rebuild
The wall's only spine is that of the skeletons within,
Axe on his shoulder, a satisfied smile that robs graves
And lays foundations.
The ghosts, with their eyes decayed and sunken,
Only see greed and plead as if they can be heard.
Do you know what you tear down?
Do you see what peace crumbles?
He stares, dissatisfied, but he likes to fix things.

City of SilverScreams filled the hallway, but its only inhabitants
were three young men and three hungry wolves.
The wind's warning was well-heeded, but did they
know what lurked beyond the doorway? One goes
down in the fray. Each mammal knew that death
and its shadow had darkened the ship. City streets
were the only ocean it would ever know.
Carbon dioxide laboured breaths, contents of
vending machines could not put empty stomachs
to rest. The screaming did not stop until the eye
was upon them. The shadows were gone. Death
exhaled and dissipated in a final effort to destroy.
Seven bodies shiver in a city of silver.

Greys To The LaceYou are statuesque in your stance,
Almost feminine.
The skin you wear almost -- almost -- looks painted on,
And the hairs atop your skull all seem to fall into place,
Perfectly.
Dressed in greys to the lace, maybe there's a reason
That your expression is sober.
A grey sky hangs overhead, and with an exhale,
Crisp, red things fall from their places,
Deceased.
You're staring at a fence, Alex,
And you are almost somewhere else entirely.

Post-Production: The EndA glance was all you could give me
A good-bye would not play the part
I did not want to admit it
But we'd lost before we'd started

The curtains close one last time
The spotlight grows dim and then dies
Lights are receding, darkness is creeping
And what's left here is all that I've ever known,
Till the last seat is empty and you've gone home

Echoes of footsteps, dustings of cobwebs
Doors locked one by one, I'm left on my own
A vast sea of waiting, everything's fading
Until next show night, out of the bright lights

Hallways, stairs, streets, cars,
No role to speak of or well-played part
Fake smiles and fake tears are all real now
